Perry Hall is located ten miles northeast of Baltimore, Maryland, in the
Gunpowder
River
Valley
that frames the border between Baltimore and
Harford
Counties
. Established in 1775, Perry Hall has a rich history of commerce, religious and family life. It was at
Perry
Hall
Mansion
where the early
Methodist
Church
was organized by the founder of our community, Harry Dorsey Gough, and several other religious leaders. Following the Civil War, Perry Hall was settled by German and Irish families who developed a thriving dairy and nursery industry. Today, Perry Hall is a suburban community with 40,000 residents, all supported by outstanding schools, recreation activities, and businesses.
Perry Hall includes that region of northeastern
Baltimore
County
bordered by the
Great
Gunpowder
Falls
on the north, Philadelphia Road on the east, White Marsh Run on the south, and the Baltimore Gas & Electric power lines on the west.
Perry Hall includes about 13 square miles of land. The community's western edge is Putty Hill, named for the sloping ground that meets White Marsh Run. The northern and eastern ends along the
Great
Gunpowder
Falls
are also rugged. Central Perry Hall is relatively flat, allowing farmers to flourish in the Nineteenth and Twentieth Centuries.
Our Community, Brewer’s Landing, was incorporated in March 1999. The community is a diversified family of 46 single family homes. We are situated in an area surrounded by a forest buffer to the north and Seven Oaks Elementary to the south.
